You can generally drink anything like that now; however, you may want to check with your NUT if they want you having something so acidic at a month out. If they ok it, I recommend cutting it with some Water. It is loaded down with sugars (natural or not) and can be pretty hard on the stomach.

Good Luck!

I was told i could have the low acid low pulp one after Clear Liquids but diluted. Instead though, I am squeezing some orange into my Water now to give it a nice taste.

I don't drink orange juice because is acidity and it's loaded with empty calories. I do eat a few slices of oranges and they are really good to. Satisfies that desire for OJ. It does irritate the stomach too.. ;)

You may also want to try True Orange crystals for orange flavor. It's made by the same people who make True Lemon, which is super tasty for lemonade. It's basically crystallized orange and a really nice add in with none of the sugar or calories.

some is OK, I would limit it to a few ounces though... sugar content and all.

I am 6 weeks out. Was craving oj badly, took a sip and I felt Nauseous I couldn't eat for the rest of the day. I love oj by the way. I guess it's another sacrifice. 36lbs down and happy about that though

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
