lacifer90 46 Posted February 10, 2013 I'm curious to see how much weight people lost in the 6 month supervised dieting before they had surgery done? My insurance says I have to do 6 month supervised diet with failure to lose more than 10% excess weight. I am concerned because my doctor has put me on Phentermine to make sure I keep losing for my last 3 months of dieting. I have been on Phentermine a couple of times before and lost fairly large numbers on it, like 40 in the first month and 15-20 from there on out. Anyone out there that has gone thru the process that has that insurance requirement lost huge numbers? I'm just afraid if I lose too much it won't be covered anymore. lacifer90 46 Posted February 10, 2013 Thanks. I've lost 20ish so far but she wants me to keep losing so she put me on pills. I just hope I don't lose too much for insurance to not cover the surgery.
