Did you get to or did you have to wait 24 hrs? Waiting that long without Water sounds like hell to me. I know every surgeon is different. Mine is Dr. Nick. Any experiences with his post-op rules?

Several hours after surgery I was given Water and Protein Jello, no problems.

I wasnt allowed anything for 24 hours but I was told to bring some biotene dry mouth spray. That helped alot especially when I really felt like I needed something to drink, at least I felt a little better.
