flmama 105 Posted February 9, 2013 I don't know what else to call it other than nesting...I feel like I did while I was waiting for my babies to be born! I have a list and am slowly tackling closets and cabinets and junk drawers and baseboards and under the beds... Nothing is safe! I just told my hubs tomorrow he can either take the kids and leave while I clean, or I'm putting him to work too! This house will be spotless before surgery (and before my mama gets here!). Anyone else go through this?
melissa130 135 Posted February 9, 2013 I sure did! That is what I called it too. I felt like I wanted the whole house clutter free and organized for my new start in life.
Kellypenrose76 16 Posted February 9, 2013 I did the same thing this past Sunday because I had surgery on Tuesday, that way the house wouldn't drive me crazy when I got home from the hospital and then I wouldn't try to clean when I really shouldn't.... flmama 105 Posted February 9, 2013 Yes, exactly! Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on your perspective), I still have 6-8 weeks before surgery...so I have plenty of time to scrub scrub scrub and organize organize organize!

lsereno 2,525 Posted February 9, 2013 yep - I cleaned, shopped, drug out the boxes of too-small clothes in case I couldn't lift for a while and I needed them, paid the bills, got dentist, nail, and hair appts out of the way, stocked up on movies and books, and trolled this forum non-stop!
