karebear0221 1 Posted February 7, 2013 Hi everyone I was sleeved on 1/23/2013. My first week I was dropping about 2 pounds a day, woo hoo! This past week however, I have not lost anything. I want to be patient and I know that there are stalls throughout the weight loss process but I didn't think I'd be going through one only one week after surgery. It's a little discouraging since I am only on liquids and I thought the weight would be pretty much falling off at this point.
geno5150 168 Posted February 7, 2013 As long as you are not gaining 2 pounds a day, you should be OK. It's a marathon, not a sprint. 2 dnicewife and gourmetone reacted to this
Bond007 2 Posted July 2, 2013 According to me if you want to lose weight than must try to do some exercise and also avoid to eat fast food. Also take low fat and carbs in your diet. Drink more Water and also used vinegar in salads.

Michelle_Johnson1977 2 Posted January 5, 2014 I was sleeved April 2012 and I am having the same problem and am getting very discouraged. I am afraid I am going to gain it all back. I feel like scale is creeping up and I am getting freaked out. I am going back to Protein Shakes and basics to see if that helps. I also made an appointment with my surgeon to see if there is excessive stretching of the sleeve! 1 cponice reacted to this
nousername 6 Posted January 6, 2014 We should strive daily to quit thinking "fast track" like we did in the past with diets. If we stop and change our thoughts to common sense ones like. Do the math, common sense tells us a much smaller pouch holds less now. Don't compare your results to others all bodies are unique in their own way...much to consider there like dna, blood type, health conditions, etc. I am glad mine did not come off faster than it did cause I don't ever want any if it back. When I did get a few lbs back, it was due to some meds I was testing for my neuropathy and fibromyalgia. AND I was nit following directions like I should have been. But lesson learned and am dedicated to losing my final 40 lbs. I don't worry about how long it will take because I know if make right choices for myself. My body will do it's job. I am in the pilot seat now. Another thing is changing my thought regarding this is a lifetime challenge, not an overnight miracle. 2 gourmetone and KeeWee reacted to this
