SerendipityHappens 1,594 Posted February 7, 2013 No, if it's not in the policy then you can't fight it. Many employers opt for coverage that does not cover things like fertility treatments or weight loss surgery in order to save money. What about Mexico? Seanja 117 Posted February 7, 2013 I think its a longshot. Maybe if he can prove that it is medically necessary. Read his jobs policys. See if he can find some sort of loop hole. Good luck tho homie.

LaserSkinGirl 147 Posted February 7, 2013 Im going to Mexico in March for the same reason, my company had the bariatric removed from the already ridiculous policy so Mexico is my alternative... So many have had great success going to Mexico... I am using Ready4Achange.com and they have been great so far and have a great reputation... Good luck
lucky8mb1 167 Posted February 7, 2013 My policy excluded it, too. There was no fighting it, and I wasn't going to change jobs. I ended up self-paying here in the states.
