simonetwentynine 16 Posted February 6, 2013 Wow that's awesome Tyson ! .How long are you on the post op diet for & when's your surgery? I'm booked in for 6/3/13, so I don't start my post op shakes till 22/2/13. I've brought kicstart Protein shakes ,I've tried a couple already n there actually quite yummy. I noticed you entered your weight in kgs not pounds, so I'm guessing your not in the states? I only ask as I'm in Australia and we use the kgs not the pounds as a measurement ... Tyson 14 Posted February 6, 2013 I am Australian yes, haha yeah ive been on my pre op diet now for 3 full days now and i have downed 3.7 kg, fair warning tho it's not easy if ur used to takeaway everyday 2 meals a day! Haha but it starts to get a little easier as time goes by and u also start to feel less lethargic and more energy which gives u the energy u need to cook for yourself and not jump in the car and get fast food haha, for me the cravings were at its worst the first day 2nd and 3rd its more the emptiness and hunger that gets to u. I am booked for surgery on the 19th of Feb this year. I am doing the 2 week pre-op diet optifast/optislim, and seeing a dietitian. May i ask what surgeon u got?
