Anyone tried Green Coffee Extract recommended by Dr. Oz?

Recommended Posts

Here is the link.... I've have two friends taking it and they have seen results....

Apparently Dr. Oz conducted his own trial and got great results..... He doesn't endorse any particular brand.

Just wondering if anyone has tried it. I'm a slow loser and thought I might try it -- maybe it would boost my losses a little bit....

Dana I love you! But.... Don't waste your money! I know about that stuff. just another miracle voodoo cure designed to make you lighter by taking your money!

And Dr oz is "not endorsing something" everyday! :)

Well Damn.... LOL..... I'm not very familiar with Dr. Oz other than I know he's on Oprah right? I mean, I've heard of him but didn't know he was shill!

Oh well, another easy fix dream dashed! :)

I'm so sorry about your ulcer! What type of treatment did they give you?

Dana,

I have to agree with laura. One of the big points about having this surgery is to get away from having to take the "miracle cures". It took me a long time to learn an important lesson - all the diet pill/metabolism boosters are a scam. They are just preying on peoples hopes for a solution. And they all have the same testimonials.

Dr. Oz is getting paid to endorse a new weight loss solution every week. Last time, I heard it was Raspberry Ketones. I don't watch his show, but anytime I see a product on the web that says, "As seen on the Dr. Oz show", I move on.

Don't throw your money away, Oz is a known quack and there are many petitions going around trying to call him on it. He endorses (whether he wants to call it that or not, thats exactly what he does when he gives it so much play on TV) a lot of unscientific unproven junk products that the rest of the medical community laughs at.

Here is a good artical to start with if you are interested in learning a little more about the real reputation of Dr. Oz.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
