So I am not quite 5 months out and I have been in this stall for about 3 weeks and I feel like I am not going to lose anymore weight. I also feel like I can eat more food. I am still only able to eat a small amount of food but more than before. I thought if you eat more that it can actually cause a boost in weightloss because your body doesn't feel like it's in starvation mode. I am still eating right and excersing the the way I am supposed to. Any tips? ??? I don't I want this to be the end to my journey with about 40lbs left to go.

Hang in there it will happen. I don't weigh but once a month so I don't have to deal with the stalls and ups and downs. I am 4 months out, losing my hair 50 lbs down. I too can eat more and have been, I just concentrate on my Proteins and Water. But loving my sleeve

Yeah I started to lose my hair at month 2 which sucks but not too bad because my hair is really thick and I have a lot of it so you can't tell that its falling out. My problem is im a scale ***** and weigh myself everyday. I have had stalls that last a week but not 3 so it gets very discouraging. I've done well so far and shouldn't complain but it's hard not to think that I'm done ugh

try different exercises every day. this keeps your body guessing and ur metabolism up. as well with me its a low carb low fat diet that makes things move. dont worry it will happen!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
