lsycko1 9 Posted February 5, 2013 So last night I had a dream about how to make healthy sliders...lol. Yes I dream about food. Anyhoo, I "made" small turkey meatball sized burgers and used a baked waffle fry as the bun! Hmmm I may need to try one... When I can a a tidally eat solids! missmeow 156 Posted February 5, 2013 Omg, I had crazy ass dreams about food when I was on a medical liquid diet. One of the reasons I quit and failed. :'(
Puja 148 Posted February 5, 2013 I feel like the best thing about having had this surgery is that now I can think of food all day, and not feel guilty. I look forward to my meals, I surf recipe blogs, and I make mental notes of things I want to eat. All without feeling like a horrible person!! I cook more than ever, I eat a lot more variety, and some times I even feel like I eat more than I did pre-op. Of course, I make much better choices, and I'm all the happier for it I can walk around in public with food now, without thinking that the world is staring at me or judging me for eating! Escape_Pod 358 Posted February 5, 2013 You could make them in a lettuce wrap too, and skip the carbs from the waffle fry! Just be aware that beef, even ground beef, can be one of the more difficult meats to eat in the earlier weeks of solids, so proceed with caution!
lsycko1 9 Posted February 5, 2013 My plan is ground turkey to start! I love lettuce wraps for sure, but was trying for a " bun" option!
