Alabamasleever 58 Posted February 5, 2013 Good to know, thx! Right now, food just seems like a wasted effort to me. I care nothing about spending time to prepare anything tasty as I can only eat a few bites anyway. Don't get me wrong, so proud that I can no longer binge, but just think it's easier to grab a piece of cheese than to waste time on something I won't enjoy. Thanks for posting this. I'm 2 months out, looking forward to the day that food is 'worth it'. I will say, I got my prayer answered, to eat to live rather than live to eat so definitely not complaining
1happyloser2b 39 Posted February 5, 2013 The way I love food now before being sleeved. I hope I can say food doesn't mean so much to me after I am sleeved like u said Alabama I want to " eat to live not live to eat!!! "

newgrandmother 725 Posted February 5, 2013 1happy im not saying i love food the way i loved it before the sleeve, im simply saying i can eat and enjoy now and get my nutrients, i also eat to live now, i have no choice. i dont know if youve been sleeved or not but at some point nothing taste good not even the protien shakes you have to drink. my first soft food was eggs and refried Beans and they taste like metallic and rotten. that is not happeing to me now i actually can taste my food and enjoy it.
