I am down about 19 lbs. It's going very slow and now that I am on a (mostly) normal diet- I feel discouraged because I feel like I can eat more than most. I was able to eat a whole egg and 2pcs of turkey bacon. That seems like a lot, no?

Sleeved 2/19 down 18lbs. 35lbs total. I need to lose another 15lbs to actually start feeling it. I'm so happy to know I'm taking my life back and will soon be healthy again. :)

Well less then 3mos out and down 51.6lbs. I don't know if that's fast or slow, but I'm happy with the results. I still have about 70lbs to go but already feel like a new person! I've had about 3 stalls lasting for about 5days each but I make it thru. (I may be brave enough to post pics by the 3mos mark) How is everyone else doing?

So as of this morning I at 215 from 253, so down 38 lbs. I feel like its going slower than most and that frustrated me, but my skin isn't really saggy so I'm ok with it going slower I guess. Eating ok- sometimes I don't hit my Protein or Water goals.. But I feel great and would do this 1000000 times over. So happy.

Yesterday I hit my 6mo mark and have lost 76.8lbs! Feeling amazing. That's a 65% loss of my excess weight. I have 42 lbs to my personal goal.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
