heartonmysleevey 133 Posted February 4, 2013 Hey Everyone!! A couple of weeks ago a friend of mine from NJ called and said she was coming to visit and had tickets to Celine Dion in Vegas. She asked if i would go and I said, "heck yeah!!" Friday, my surgeons office called and said my Surgery date is the 22nd!!! I was expecting late March early April, not that im complaining. Ive been waiting almost 2 years to hear those words. After the excitement dwindled down, I thought to myself, "oh dear!" My friend booked the ticket to come out here. Now, I would like your opinion. I live about a 2 hour drive from Vegas. My hubby will be driving and I will be about 2 weeks post-op. I have a master plan about packing a cooler and being super prepared with my food and shakes. My friend is super supportive and so is hubby. I will be in the soft foods stage as well. We will be staying one night. Am I going to be miserable? Is it too soon? Any pointers would help Thanks everyone!
