Satchel 42 Posted February 4, 2013 I am almost afraid to ask this, so try not to laugh, as I have just begun to do an Internet search, but since my sleeve surgery (I am beginning my 4th week out), I have not had a sensation to urinate. I will just realize that I have not gone to the restroom in awhile and try to go, with no problem at all. I am hoping this is not surgery related and that my kidneys will function as normal, including the sensation. I am praying it is nothing serious. I also start my pureed food stage today. UTGal99 327 Posted February 4, 2013 You NEED to address this with your surgeon.
ljperez 87 Posted February 4, 2013 I kind of went through this I remember not using the bathroom that much and not needing to go either. I think it has something to do with not being able to drink as much as before and also your body holding on to everything because we don't get as much as we need. Is you urine clear in color or dark? If it's dark drink more.
notime 340 Posted February 4, 2013 Please call your doctor. I am not implying this is serious, but I do believe a doctor is the person to answer this question.
Satchel 42 Posted February 4, 2013 Yes, I did call the doctor's office as I had other questions for the nutritionist. I told her about it and she said she had never heard of such a thing. I will call my family doctor, though, and see what he has to say.
