Thank Doc. It's been a while, I don't remember. I thought it was 90, but that doesn't make me right. :)

It doesn't make me right either. :). I would double check with my nut. Good luck - I know getting enough Protein will be one of my biggest problems.

I was told 90-100 grams I am only 5'5

I was told to shoot for 60-70 grams (not based on height, but I am 5'5"). I shoot for a minimum 80 and can sometimes get over 100. That's counting a shake and Pure Protein Bar. I don't think I could get that much by just eating. For supper tonight, I had a Morning Star Grillers veggie burger patty with a tablespoon of Famous Dave's Sweet and Zesty sauce. The patty was 130 calories with 15 grams of Protein. Actually, I just checked my "totals" and I'm at 69 grams of protein with just the shake, a homemade bean and beef enchilada for lunch, and the veggie patty.

I see you don't eat Greek yogurt, but have you tried it with a bit of sugar-free pudding mix in it? It's so good!

I haven't tried the greek yogurt with pudding mix, but I will try that too. If I could eat an entire egg, turkey burger, or even drink a whole shake, etc. I don't think I'd struggle so much to get my Protein in. However, that's not reality for me. I'm not losing hair yet, so hopefully I won't. I just don't know if there is any other issues that I could have as a result?? I spent the first week post op in ICU and the third week post op inpatient too for dehydration, UTI, and kidney stones. My hubby works in the oilfield and is out of town for a month or two so, being sick is out of the question considering I don't know anyone in my town and we have two kids. :) I do take my Vitamins and get B12 shots, so hopefully that's enough to make up for the lack of protein. Thanks everyone for your help!!

I like butterscotch. I measure out 8 oz. of yogurt and add in 2t of pudding mix. I eat that over the course of several hours, but I generally don't feel restriction with yogurt. I tried banana cream today and didn't like it. Tomorrow I will try pistachio. Good luck!

There is a cheesecake flavor but I hear it is bitter. Why can't they make the flan one in a sugar-free version? I bet THAT is good! :D

I am going to to try banana creme with my vanilla bean Protein powder and butterscotch with my chocolate truffle powder and PB2. Getting wild and crazy flavor ideas here with my Protein shake flavor aspirations! :) OK, not that wild and crazy, but it is time to take a short break from Cookies and creme ( my favorite!) as i have been on that for 7 months now, 2 shakes a day.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
