Great job. I will chime in as a negative nancy and warn you not to expect the same results every week. Usually a huge drop is followed by a slowdown, so don't feel defeated if that does happen or if you happen to hit a stall earlier because you've lost so much so quickly. Just try to look at the big picture and enjoy this huge drop so soon after surgery.

Good luck and congrats on your new sleeve,

~Cheri

I agree with Cheri. I lost 20 by my 2 week post op visit. However, the scale stalled and I got pretty depressed. You may want to measure yourself. The scale may stall but your body will keep changing

Thank you Cheri. I am not a big fan of the scale or weighing myself. I promise I wasn't even gonna weight myself until a month but the fiancé was dying to. I am just making sure I feel great. The numbers don't bother me unless 6months were to pass n don't see any results. But I think I will be. Today is day 5post up... My goal is to walk on the treadmill for 30mins. It helps me a lot.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
