Have any of you tried the cauliflower pizza crust. It's delicious! It's amazing that it comes out like Pizza Crust. Very important to drain the cauliflower well between paper towels though after cooking it.

I have not- might need to do so.

I am a very picky eater and although its not as good as a real pizza it's pretty close. I love the fact that its so high in Protein and no carbs.

What's buffalo?

Its a type of animal. The meat is similar to beef but a little leaner. I actually used a mixture of ground beef and italian sausage.

I tried that recipe and don't know what I did wrong. It browned like a crust but was more of a mashed potato consistency. As far as this recipe I'd like to know what I did wrong as well. It was super dry and almost powdery. It was however well flavored though.

I just made this one. It's really good. Kind of like a pizza omelette but good none the less. I'll post pics on another message.

So this isn't no carb but I assume it is low carb. At my local BJ's and Stew Leonard's they have this lavash bread. It is 3 weight watchers points for a piece that is larger than a sheet of paper. Toast it up and put toppings on it. Yummmm.

I made this tonight and it looks delicious. However it was really dry. Is there anything else I can do to make it more moist? Did I cook it too long?

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
