ISleevedIt 380 Posted February 2, 2013 I just realized that I'm suppose to start the my pre-op liquid diet on Feb 14th. It's Valentine's Day, but more importantly it's my 22nd wedding anniversary! You think I can have my last hurrah and go to my favorite restaurant before starting the liquid diet on the 15th?
VSGKirk 855 Posted February 2, 2013 I started mine a few days before Christmas and went through New Year's. I wanted to test myself to see how serious I was about making this change. Ask your surgeon on 2/12 - he might surprise you and tell you to go for it!
<3 Gigi <3 5 Posted February 2, 2013 I'm hoping you can cuz i blew my whole first week!!! I'd go for it but definatly get on it and stay on it strict for the rest of the time or you'll hate yourself. That's me anyway.. Happy Anniversary!!!

I like your determination Kirk! I hope to build up to that much! My life shouldn't revolve around food.
VSGKirk 855 Posted February 2, 2013 It was hard as hell (not going to lie), but it was all up my head - that's the biggest battle. Post op I have had to go to client dinners, shows, concerts, parties and learn to fill my emotional needs with the people and the experience, instead of what I can eat or drink. THAT, and I've dropped almost 16k into this process, so I have an additional incentive to make it work, LOL!

ISleevedIt 380 Posted February 2, 2013 Ok...we can all do this. We all want to be healthier....well at least my mind is being good right now....after a meal of corned beef and cabbage....I know, I know, corned beef isn't the leanest meat, but I did leave off the potatoes that I usually cook.
