Hello fellow pre and post sleevers!! I fall into the pre category and I'm wondering... What does YOUR positive self-talk sound like? You know, those words you say to yourself to keep on track and going strong. Those things you think or say out loud to defeat the doubt and urges to cheat or give up...

Today is another day to show my strength

I love me...especially a healthy me

Ya know, sappy stuff like that... ;)

Thanks everyone! ♡ Cher

I tell myself this is my time. It's about me and it's ok for me to be selfish and think about myself for once. I'm worth it and this is an investment in myself.

Honestly, I don't need much self talk. All the extra attention keeps me motivated. Not to mention how great I feel now. You couldn't pay me to turn back.

I am worth it.

What kind of example do I want to set for the children I love?

I deserve to be healthy and happy.

Will I feel better after eating this?

Will I feel better after exercising even though I don't want to right now?

I agree with OTR, after a year at goal, I do find it easier to resist the treats. It feels great being skinny and healthy. I love looking in the mirror.

I'm taking a vacation from self-talk since overcoming the greater part of my fat problem. I battled myself constantly for so many years that having my eating in control now is such a relief. Now I am free to think about something other than loving and hating food. I guess I do tell myself, "That was a good move!"
