Rycherchick 147 Posted February 1, 2013 Im having a hard time witb myiquids. Ive just been so sleepy i sleep all day. Last nite i tried more Water and it wouldnt stay down. I just wish o felt better. JerseyGirl68 1,172 Posted February 1, 2013 The pain near your diaphram may be gas from surgery. That is where mine was too, and uncomfortable. The best way to get rid of it is walking. Try sitting with a heating pad, and maybe warm liquids (broth, herbal tea) might go down easier than Water.< /p> Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Richard Foor 655 Posted February 1, 2013 Some people find that if they drink warmer liquids it is easier in the early days post op. This would be because the warm liquid will help decrease the swelling and therefore allow for more Fluid to pass through.
