LMFAO575 112 Posted January 31, 2013 I'm 3 weeks out & still feel that discomfort/pulling pain on right mid quadrant area. No need for pain med buy its there. Had to call in this Monday due to severe excruciating pain. Called doc said it sounded muscular/incisional, advised to take pain med, apply heat, & rest. All better by Tuesday! alw1981 2 Posted January 31, 2013 Day 4 or 5 was much better. I didn't have to have help sitting up at that point and I didn't need pain meds.

jennifer6769 37 Posted January 31, 2013 The pain is described as if you had a c section and when you get up you feel the muscle pushing. When is was in the hospital I have the reclining bed which was so much easier to get out of bed but now back to readily I need to get up from my bed and I feel every single muscles in the stomach. Today is my 3rd day of operation and instill have the pain when I get up even walking need to walk extra slow. I had my gall bladder taken out when I was 19 and after the week I didn't have those pains anymore.
maquinn20 13 Posted February 1, 2013 I had a wicked amount of pain in 2 out of the 6 incisions. I would literally hold them (they were right next to eachother) when I walked because I felt like they were tearing. It took about a week to go away. Two and a half weeks post op and I have NO PAIN in my abdominal area anymore. Good luck with your healing!!
PerezL84 66 Posted February 1, 2013 I had surgery yesterday. 5 incisions. Today I feel much better despite a minor comfort on one of the incisions. I think I will be in a speedy recovery so I hope. Hope this month passes quick.

PerezL84 66 Posted February 1, 2013 Hey! We did it.... I'm better today just a little pain when I get up from the bed. So your still in the hospital? Nope I am back home. I am having trouble passing out the gasses. I try everything walking, gas x strips but nothing seems to help. I slept more last night than what I did in the hospital. Now about the liquids.., I hope I can take my entire bottle of Isopure. Crossing fingers.

NurseGrace 509 Posted February 1, 2013 Today, at day 10 I would say today is the first day that I feel zero incisional pain. I am still having shoulder problems but when I had a lapband that lasted weeks, which I do not think is typical.
