I've been on Carnival and Norwegian. Carnival was defianatly the better of the two. I have friends who've been on Royal Carribean and like it too. Carnival is supposedly a more of a party crowd.

So which would be better to take 15 and 19 year old daughters on?

I'm hoping to do a cruise with them some time

I went on a cruise about 4 months post op and have one booked for when I will be 13 months post op. When eating out here I eat off other peoples plates, from the kids menu, or ala carte only. I am cheap. Is it the islands, the weather, the endless activities I am looking forward to on the next cruise? Heck NO it isn't... It is ordering my own meal!

Im a travel agent. I only book business travel now but previously was a lesiure agent. I booked the youngerish, middle class people on Carnival. I have friends who enjoy NCL but I love Carnival and have cruised with them several times.

Either Carnival or RC. Carnival is typically cheaper. There's going to be drinkers on either one, but there's lot's to do even if your not drinking. Me and my hubby don't drink but it doesn't stop us from having fun.

Definitely Carnival. It is geared more toward the younger crowd.

Carnival, in my opinion, is the best cruise line. I've been in 8 cruises with Disney, Norwegian and Carnival and the latter was the best by far! Even over Disney, which is a total ripoff in my opinion.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
