Rycherchick 147 Posted January 30, 2013 It will get better. I am assuming cuz I wont know til after tomorrow but I think its normal. You are in mourning, its grief. We gave up something we loved and turned to in times of need. Itsonly temporary. You will get thru this and you will one day be able to eat yur faves but just in moderation. You will get better and maybe a good cry is all you need. If the feelings do not subside tho you may want to talkto youdoctor. Be happy sweetie

Livinglifeout 217 Posted January 30, 2013 Just keep your mind on the prize:). Think of an event or plan something to look forward too, that you'll need a new sassy outfit for, say in six months. Keep yourself busy right now...get your mind off food.< /p>

kristikay 60 Posted January 30, 2013 I am feeling a bit of depression myself. I am not up to doing much yet so to much tv and time to think. I hope it gets better. It is such a big adjustment to our lives, I don't think I realized how much until now. I know its a positive change but all change can be hard.
DrmBig4Evr 152 Posted January 30, 2013 One thing my psych suggested is to keep an index card or photos of what my ultimate reason for the weight loss goal is in my purse or on me at all times so that if I think of food I'll remember that whatever it is I want right now is not as important as the long term goal which is to live for my kids and grandkids. Went to the "shrink" she told me is was a normal way to feel, my body and mind have been through a lot of changes very quickly and it will take time to feel myself. T'snewstart 251 Posted January 30, 2013 It took me about 3 months to be able to eat the foods I enjoy... life has become normal. I go out with friends...eat in restaurants ..... tiny portions of course. But, I am there and enjoying time with friends....I was really worried at the 6 week Mark....I felt so drained all the time..... sometime between the 8th and 10th week it all changed. I hope the same for you! Best Wishes Tina
