rockdutchess82 26 Posted January 29, 2013 How was your recovery ...were you sore? Did you feel as if your stomach was cut ?
Lorraine Freeman 47 Posted January 29, 2013 Recovery for me went well, had small issues like a very runny tummy for the first week so got really dehydrated, also my incisions got infected so had to get a sugar free liquid antibiotic which was the worst thing I have ever tasted in my life. I didn't feel like my tummy had been cut out but did feel very tender where the large incision was. It's more achy than sore, I felt it more when I was bending or trying to sit up. I can honestly say it wasn't agony and was it was a really manageable pain, not half as sore as I was expecting. Hope this helps.
FindingMyWay 1 Posted January 29, 2013 for me, it felt like i had just done 10,000 sit-ups. it felt like muscle aches, not like they just removed half your stomach. the incision where they remove the stomach hurt the most and the longest.
SeriouslyChange 319 Posted January 29, 2013 I couldn't bend. Day one I couldn't even wipe my own as s. as the days went on it gets better, took me almost 2 weeks to sleep on my side. But now I'm back to normal
