nursemeg89 185 Posted January 29, 2013 Hi Laura! I'm Megan, also 23, would be happy to support you via this website. I am post-op. My surgery date was a little over 2 months ago, November 19th! I started my pre-op diet on November 4th (2 weeks of Protein shakes) and since that date I have lost 71 pounds. Having this surgery was the single BEST thing I have ever done for myself. Did you guys have a lot of steps for dr or insurance No my doc put in the paperwork & a few days later I was all ready to go. Other then the post op diet there was nothing else I needed to do.
