No game 14,437 Posted January 30, 2013 I make an easy chili for my family: 1pound ground turkey I red bell pepper chopped 1 green bell pepper chopped 1onion chopped I small can Tomato paste 1 can diced tomatoes 2 cans black Beans 1 can chicken stock a handful of chili powder to taste And garlic powder, salt, pepper..or if I'm feeling even more lazy I just use a packet of chili spices and disregard the directions on it! I basically use seasoning or chili mix based on desired "hotness", kidney Beans, ground turkey, diced tomatoes (or salsa), chopped onions and I add in quinoa as well as a couple of other minor ingredients. Lots of Protein and with some good carbs (beans and quinoa). I no longer eat my chili with crackers or tortilla scoops though, but before surgery, I went that route and it was gooooood! Fiddleman 4,376 Posted February 3, 2013 Famous Dave's Meatballs 1 bottle fAMOUS Dave's Sweet & Tangy BBQ Sauce 1/4-1/2 bottle FAMOUS Dave's Devil Spit bbq sauce (depending on the heat you like) 28oz. frozen reduced fat turkey meatballs - frozen simmer sauce for 10-15min. in small sauce pan.
