SoCalDixieGal 172 Posted January 27, 2013 Oh, and the refrigerator is spotless! Sometimes it's the little things that cause pleasure . . especially on a pre-op liquid diet 1 ProudGrammy reacted to this
hinportland 83 Posted January 27, 2013 My grocery bill is so much cheaper, too! And if I eat out, I have an extra 5+ meals to help get me through week. I don't have to buy new clothes because everything is too tight, instead I just pull the smaller clothes out from storage, and buy new if I want to, not cause I have to. I'm having fun experimenting with new recipes. I have more energy. I have more motivation to exercise. My skin looks better. My hair looks better. Everything is better now since the surgery. :-) 1 ProudGrammy reacted to this
clk 3,519 Posted January 28, 2013 Some of these things last well past the preop phase, too. There are still far less dishes to wash in my house. My refrigerator is never overloaded and cluttered (unless I'm catering an event or entertaining, anyway) and tends to stay nice and clean. And I never Iron. Ever. It was one of the rules before I married my husband. He can iron or he can pay someone else to do it for him, but I never, ever iron. ~Cheri
