Ice Packs!!

There were many moments after surgery when I started to feel light headed and nauseous. Thankfully, I knew enough to ask for an ice pack and place it on the back of my neck. (learned this when I got light headed once giving blood) Worked like a charm and stopped me from being naus. (I did not want to throw up!!) I kept it with me at all times in the hospital and the first couple of days at home. It also helped me to soothe the Migraines I got from the morphine!

Just wanted to share that tip because it was a huge help to me.

If anyone else has some similar tips like this...please add them :)

Heat pack felt good all over... Lower back, tummy, I walked down to the microwave, put it in, walked for the two minutes while it heated, and walked back every hour. The warmth was a nice little reward, and an hour later, I walked again. :)
