Seanja 117 Posted January 26, 2013 I'm done with all the necessary requirements. Had my psych eval today. They are going to submit to my insurance next week. One thing I don't have is a letter from my Pcp. I asked my insurance coordinator and she said I didn't need it. Wish me luck. I have Aetna and my BMI is 46 I have high blood pressure and severe sleep apnea I should get approved no problem. 1 T'snewstart reacted to this
Lisa's Hope 421 Posted January 26, 2013 I had all those co morbidities and still didn't get approved. My insurance is Coventry though and they pay for nothing even though they get 1200.00 in premiums a month from us and my husbands employer. :/ I was self pay. Seanja 117 Posted January 26, 2013 Wow. Sorry to hear that. Why didn't they approve it? They must not approve weight lost surgeries.
Lisa's Hope 421 Posted January 26, 2013 Yeah. They don't. There are a lot of insurance companies that don't . I don't understand that either. Doesn't seem fair.
