Food and drink at the same time?

Do any of you eat and take a drink of your liquid at the same time? Or do you first eat, wait, then have your liquids 30 minutes later? Or how long do I wait to have your liquids after you eat?

I have to take little sips while i eat bcs i have dry mouth syndrome. But if I get distracted and drink more than tiny sips I get full quicker but get hungrier sooner (bcs too much liquid pushes food through faster.). Also, sometimes if I take a bigger sip sometime it hurts. So i need to be really aware when I eat. If i didn't have to drink while eating, i really wouldn't, but it's not a choice for me.

One thing my NUT really stressed was not drinking and eating at the same time. That was good enough for me.

But, I saw this video on another site and the visual really stayed with me. I can't post the video but, go to FormerFatDudes . com toward the bottom right is a "Popular Posts" box, Click on Friends don't let friends drink and eat. Simple, but effective. Granted, he didnt' have the sleeve, but I think the idea is the same.
