Youngun 53 Posted January 24, 2013 I can't stop thinking about food! I'm not even hungry! I'm finding I'm really unproductive at school because all I think about is when lunch is! And when I think about food I come on here for encouragement but it's really distracting me from my responsibilities anyone else? I posted in the twenties forum because I want to know if other people my age are being distracted from their school work? And I didn't realize my attachment to food was as deep as it is! Is your addiction stronger than you thought it was? Does the obsession go away or get better? Don't worry! So far I've been quite good at following my plan despite the psychological hurdles! The pain of overeating trumps my food addiction! 1 Ms skinniness reacted to this
.......... 129 Posted January 24, 2013 invest in learning about your diet, find recipes, get the scoop on health, all this can replace whats been your thoughts and you'll build a contrast while getting used to lesser sized meals, small not as gratuitous meals by rebuilding what you have thought with all new perspectives, a satisfieing healthy meal with veggies and good flavors can start to fill that gap better and making sure its all nutricious keeps the hunger at bay and you'll not need obsess so in the future. Ms skinniness 3,003 Posted January 25, 2013 It takes time to change. I really do like the suggestions about researching and finding more healthy nutritionist food. Focus on small portions and eating a spoon of this and a spoon of that. Don't forgot to eat ur Protein first. When at school thinking about food refocus on ur classes. Tell ur self no. Plan ur food the night before.

The pain of overeating trumps my food addiction! Feel the same way! Everything revolves around food and it makes it hard. I've hit a hard time where all I want to do is eat. I'm not hungry, can't eat much but every few hours I want something. If you need to talk let me know!
smallbird 168 Posted July 21, 2013 I'm feeling the same way, looking at the clock to see if its time to eat yet. It's hard and I bought a book called "skinny thinking". It's supposed to help with the mental part of changing food addiction. I will let you know if it helps, other than that I go to support groups to talk about it
