Quickly 45 Posted January 24, 2013 Anyone have this random sharp, burning, stabbing like pain at the puncture site right of the belly button. (I believe its the one they removed stomach from). It happens usually at night and brings tears to my eyes. Only last for like 30 minutes. Happened last 3 nights. Wakes me up! I don't know if I roll on it or not!!! Megs81 41 Posted January 24, 2013 I have not had the sharp stabbing pain for a few days. When I did it was like it was under the incision site where they removed the stomach. I get weird feelings if I move wrong or if I try to turn from one side to the other while I'm bent over.
Lander 74 Posted January 24, 2013 Mine was on the left side, but yes, I had pain like that still happening at 3 weeks out. Good news is that by 4 weeks it was all a memory.
Megs81 41 Posted January 24, 2013 Mine was on the right. Everyone had me ready to have it on the left. But the more you walk the dog goes away... At least for me.
Quickly 45 Posted January 24, 2013 Ok, so I am not alone with this!! Hoping it goes away!! Probably just healing and shifting inside. But, when it happens it reminds me of the surgery for sure!! I also can feel like a knot at the site too..
Megs81 41 Posted January 24, 2013 Walk and try to get Water in. It is healing and when it doesn't hurt take advantage and do a few extra laps around the house. It does help
Megs81 41 Posted January 24, 2013 Thanks Meg!! No problem. Good luck with the pain. Just remember it won't last forever
