I had the same fears I was sleeved Jan 8th and let me just tell you it will be over in a snap!! You won't even remember falling asleep it will be over so fast!! I am sure you will be fine. The last thing I remember was they were hooking me up and one of the guys in the OR started cracking jokes with me. Relax, take a nap and then sip sip sip and walk when you wake up. Good luck and I will be sending prayers and warm happy thoughts your way

Oh... I know the feeling!! Scared and anxious. I had mine also Jan 8!! Anesthesia is great. You will do fine. Just ask for pain meds!! They help so much and expect gas pain and tenderness!! Morphine works on it well!! I threw up the first night and it was not that bad.. they have medicine for that!! It will be over before ya know it, remember to take walks and pass gas.. small frequent sips! Good Luck and you will be soooo glad you did it!!
