It think most would like you to keep it around 50 in the beginning . I think I broke my stall by keeping it under that.

My guidelines were no more than 100g a day, no more than 20g at a time.

Do I ever come remotely close to it? Nope. Most days I'm in the 20-30 range on a daily basis, most of that from dairy sources (cottage cheese, yogurt).

In my experience staying below 30 during the first 3 months had some great results. Then gradually increased it, but even now, I stay below 50 for a day. If I cross the carb count on a day, I make a concious effort to reduce the carbs the very next day. Good to shake things up a bit! :)

I have no carb restrictions - but if you follow post-op guidelines it's pretty hard to get them that high!!

I aimed for 20-30, maximum 40 for the first 5-6 months. After that, I relaxed some (50+) so that I had more carbs to support my long workouts (2 and sometimes 3 hours per day). Now that I am pretty much at goal I am not counting carbs but just focus on Protein and let it fall into place from there. In addition, I stay away from the more processed carbs. By 8 months I was down a little over 110 lbs to my goal-ish. Turns out my goal is a moving target and it's been a harder decision than you might think!

Are you all saying 50ish grams of carbs per DAY or per SERVING?

150g is my max but that's only because I exercise 4-5 days a week and I'm still breastfeeding. I also don't drink caffeine so I can't do low carb because it makes me so tired and grouchy, who the heck wants to be around that lol I have 3 kiddos to take care of
