johnlatte 1,232 Posted January 22, 2013 You could start to ease back into it. I was back in the gym less than a week post op, but only walked for a while. Dr. didn't want me lifting much until a month out. I would take it easy and listen to your body, but some arm and shoulder work probably would be okay. I wouldn't do crunches, squats or any real leg work for at least another month. I am at 2 months and am just now getting back to the lower parts of my workout. Decembersleever 154 Posted January 22, 2013 Each doctor is different - I think we were sleeved on the same day (12/26), My doctor has released me to excercise - I have a limit of 20 pounds. He said "listen to your body. If you feel a pinch - STOP and wait another week." I'm doing light weights (3 pounds), treadmill and elliptical - 4 times a week. Doing fine so far. Good luck to you. ortega07 59 Posted January 22, 2013 I haven't been cleared yet for going in the Water. I want to take Zumba and spin etc buttttt I'm still only eating 600-800 calories a day and on full liquid. The treadmill wipes me out after 30 minutes and I don't want to burn off all 600 calories that I have consumed. I should b cleared for purée fri! I think that will be my green light. Thoughts?
