Have the procedure done laparoscopically?

Recommended Posts

I hear about people being in pain from their incisions after the procedure but is anyone having it done laparoscopically?? How is the pain after that? Because that's how my surgery is being performed :)

As far as I know, they are all done laparoscopically. The incisions people talk about are the holes the doctor pokes into your stomach for the laparoscopic tools to enter. I have 5 incisions - 4 about the sized of a dime and one 2 inch incision where they pulled out the removed part of my stomach.

I have 6 incisions and one hole where the drain was. A few of them I never felt at all. A few of them felt a pulling, burning and itching for three or four weeks after. The worst of course was the larger one where the stomach was removed through.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
