Girlygirl88 3 Posted January 21, 2013 I just finished reading jemima jones by Jane green and I loved it, I couldn't put it down! Does anyone else have any good recommendations for books they have read? :-)
jen1211 203 Posted January 21, 2013 I just finished The Cinderella Pact about 3 friends who vow to lose weight (each by a different means), it is told from one persons perspective though. Kind of romancy too. It wasn't too bad. 1 Girlygirl88 reacted to this

Renea77 84 Posted January 22, 2013 I recently started reading Kate White's book, I Shouldn't Be Telling You This. It gives advice on how to be successful in both your professional and personal life. I am enjoying it so far...
zoekids 120 Posted January 31, 2013 I read three books on the way out to do my surgery on VSG and Barriatric Surgery. Maybe I should have done it earlier but better late than never. The Sleeved Life: A Patient to Patient Guide on VSG WLS by Pennie Nicole -- I liked this as it was specifically on VSG. She talked about pre- and post-operative concerns, success factors, and then delved into maintenance. Succesful Weight Loss with Gastric Sleeve by Dr Alvarez -- great read on the differences between the procedures and good tips for WL The Success Factors of Weight Loss Surgery Patients -- not as much specifics on VSG, It does break it down within several categories of what makes succesful long-term WL patient. Lots of success stories reinforcing the particular point described on the previous pages. I also bought WL cookbook: Eating Well After Weight Loss Surgery ... by Pattie Levine and Michele ..
