Question to all you ladies..... Is it ok to color my hair? I'm 2 1/2 months post op and my hair has become a little thinner just from more coming out and I need to cover up the grays.... Has anyone had any problems coloring there hair??? I don't do it myself and have a professional do it

I was sleeved dec 10th, my hair is a little thinner, but I had to color my hair last week because the grey was so bad & I go back to work tomorrow. Looks great & no more shedding then I was doing already.

I have been coloring my hair every 4 weeks, since I was sleeved back in October -- I think the coloring helps camouflage the thinning.

I color mine still. I don't think it makes the shedding any worse than what it is already

RED. Go RED. Actually more if a strawberry Blonde. Or a really bright RED. Pink works too

OTR... At some point, every person you have either provided sound info to, made laugh, or helped to pull back on track, should meet you somewhere in mid-America for a big bash! You're a hoot!

Wait, am I missing something? Does vsg cause you to get grey hairs regardless of age?? Or are the greys unrelated to the surgery?

Grays are unrelated to surgery. I started going gray in my 20s. I dye mine auburn, goes well with my complexion and green eyes

I don't get gray hair. I prefer to tell people I'm growing Fiber optic cable!

I'm a hair stylist and typically, there aren't any medical procedures that would prevent you from coloring your hair (with the exception of chemo or radiation, because this makes your hair more fragile than anything else). So, with that being said, I plan to continue to color mine and I have many clients who have been sleeved and we were still coloring their hair at their regular times. Go for it!!

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
