Wow...93 pounds sounds good. I'm only two months out and have lost thirty. I've been working out trying to see if that will help with skin. I don't have any yet but i don't want it either

Im 6 1/2 months out and lost 132 lbs so far. Yes, saggy belly, arms and thighs. It covers up good with clothes. :) I'll have the skin removal surgery later. I still have 36 more pounds I want to lose. The closer I get to my goal the slower its coming off. But I'll take it as long as it keeps coming off.

Search the library for saggy skin. There tons of theories out there ..oils, wraps, etc.. My plan is to moisturize, exercise to build up the muscle underneath, and save for an apron removal. At your age, much younger than I, you have a greater chance of it looking much better over time but you will still do better with adding exercise.

I have to wonder if intense interval training and strength training will help with creating tight skin for you after the large weight loss (170 down myself from highest weight). I notice that every time I run, my skin firms up under the legs. They look good now. Focusing on arm, chest and lat strength training with free weights will also tighten up the upper body. Finally, I have found that intense workout programs like Bob Harpers Inside Out, pdx90 or any of those x-gym, x-training routines will really shape a person's body. I personally use a combination of dumb bells and my own body weight with an hour long intense strength training workout to put my upper body through the gauntlet on non running days. It really helps. No hanging skin.

I have reconciled with myself that there are just some tradeoffs and that's OK.

There will be some tightening of skin in places and not as much in others. Exercise, drinking Water and moisturizing can help up to some extent.

Surgery is always an option.

Moisturizing?? With what? And I've heard some people talk about some types of creams may help...have you heard anything about that?

Definitely cardio and strength training are going to help with most of this. Also, a good body butter, cocoa butter TO KEEP THE SKINS ELASTICITY to help it recover and bounce back.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

      2. BlondePatriotInCDA

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
