I just has my sleeve on feb 20th by Dr. Gandsas. Everything went fine! I came home on the 21st and I'm doing pretty good. AAMC does have a support group that meets once a month. Not sure what the dates are.

Djstola 26 Posted March 8, 2013 Hi I am getting sleeve with Dr Gandsas on May 8th. I love the support group. I have met many AAMC employees who have had sleeve or GBP with Dr. gandsas. I'm ready for surgery now, but he is so busy it takes 2-3 months to get on the surgery schedule. I qualified for a March/early April date. Love Arianne, but sometimes Jeannete kinda scares me. I'm sad but Gandsas said we can still do my surgery once I'm all through the woods with this.. I am so sorry!!! I'm sure you are incredibly frustrated. I was very worried about some unforeseen testing, but I got my results and everything came out ok. Did dr g give you an idea of what you need to do, and when he can reschedule?
