rct 16 Posted February 23, 2013 Must be a Monday thing! I was sleeved on the 18th and I have Fluid on my lungs due to the anesthesia. Tonight it feels like someone is stabbing me in the chest on my left side when I breathe, and when I laid down to sleep around 9:00, I felt like I was suffocating. I totally panicked. Waiting to hear back from my surgeon and hoping it's not progressed to a partially collapsed lung!

It's very important to do them about 10 times an hour to keep your lungs from getting groggy after going under. I hated doing them bc I felt like a brick was on my chedt but it really did help. Susie1226 138 Posted February 23, 2013 Anyone sleeved 2-19 still in a lot of pain That would be me. Not much on gas pains but right side incision burns bad. I have to use a stomach binder and that helps but still feel that horrible burning. When I take off the binder, I almost want to pass out and throw up from the pain. I too was in a lot of pain the first 4 days but then it became quite manageable. Walking helps tremendously. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

I know I've needed support for my stomach and I've gotten buy with just a small pillow...are your incisions puffy, red, or discharging at all? If it continues, I would contact your doc!
