Evolving 973 Posted February 22, 2013 Thanks for all the well wishes guys. I made it to the losers bench! I'm sleeved! Surgery went well...lost 14 lbs on pre OP diet which was the Atkins induction diet. I'm still in hospital until tomorrow hopefully...pain meds and nurses are awesome...the breathing spirometor(sp) is a big help. Still pretty nauseous when I get up to walk but it helps Sooooooooo much with the gas pains which have been the worse....looking forward to talking to my surgeon this morning and will keep u all posted...only have been able to eat ice chips so far and honestly that's all I have wanted....love u all and good luck to the remaining Feb sleevers...we have seats open on the loosers bench! Glad it went well!! Best wishes for a speedy recovery Sent from my iPhone using VST

yourbanker 8 Posted February 22, 2013 Was sleeved on Feb 19th. Was discharged yesterday. Sipping crystal light every five minutes. Incisions feel ok. Can't sleep on my stomach but I got about four hours sleep. Feel everything that passes through stomach. No nausea or vomit. Sound normal?

firelle 146 Posted February 22, 2013 I've been cutting back my coffee, down to one small cup in the morning. Today I'm starting going caffeine-free. Is it time for a nap?
himalaya62 221 Posted February 22, 2013 I'm 18 days post op. had a regular cup of coffee and it was marvelous! Having trouble tolerating soft foods though and figuring out when I had enough until its too late. then i get that awfully uncomfortable feeling between my shoulder blades that I ate too much or too fast. I wish I could just stay on liquids. It was so much easier for me!! I just need to S-L-O-W down!!!

So I just stick with 1-2 tablespoon and that's it that way I dont over do it
