christy38 17 Posted January 19, 2013 Does VSG make you go do #2 more then before surgery? Lol
joatsaint 2,814 Posted January 19, 2013 In my case, I am going about half as much. Since I'm taking in less than half of the food I used to eat, it only follows that I'd be going less. Although it does make for some anxiety moments on the scale. I won't lose weight for a day or two and think I'm in a stall. Then I'll go to the bathroom and POOF! I'm down a pound and the weight loss resumes.
kyllfalcon 768 Posted January 19, 2013 Only for the first few weeks when mostly liquids are going in. Since then, no, it's a struggle to poo. Like the previous poster, I may gain an ounce or two a day until I go good, then I drop some weight. I go every day, just not always as, well, thoroughly, as I'd like. Traci J. 207 Posted January 19, 2013 I have a good BM about every other day....coffee helps me go every time.
kmwheel 127 Posted January 19, 2013 I would say it's a bit less and I have problems going sometimes. I find that really staying hydrated helps. I am 4 months out. I was able to start going better when I got to the point where I could get some roughage (salad and veggies) in with my Protein.< /p>

teachbearga1 18 Posted January 20, 2013 I can relate to this subject before surgery regular person. After, surgery once every week if I am lucky. I take milk magu every day with little results. Sometimes I want my old stomach back.
