GlendaLee 44 Posted January 19, 2013 Sooooooooooooo....Although I'm asthmatic, have allergies and sinus issues frequently...I keep all that well under control with inhalers, and antihistamines. I have never ever (promise) been a headache person, honestly, and I know that seems unusual. But in the last week, I've probably noted 3-4 headaches, one being right now...all of them always being in the evening about this time. Can diet be a cause? and I'm so confused about NSAID's (?)...I don't have much to choose from in my med cabinet, cuz, well, I never need 'em....I have Aleve...and some left over liquid prescript. pain meds...which is what I used the last headache, so I could get to sleep...which I'm an earlier "go to bed person"...it's actually almost past my bed time...lol. Tylenol, right? over Aleve?
GlendaLee 44 Posted January 19, 2013 fyi....I'm almost 7 weeks post op...if that matters...and if ya notice my ticker...I guess I'm a "slow loser"...dang it...

GlendaLee 44 Posted January 19, 2013 Are you drinking enough? When I'm dehydrated I get really bad headaches.. I really hope you find an answer. Ya know, that's a good point...I'm usually home all day and getting my fluids in, but today I got out and ran tons if errands for my 78 year old dad, then my 21 year old step daughter needed some things, etc...totally could be that. nikkiwren701 7 Posted January 19, 2013 Yes! Tylenol over aleve. Try to drink your liquids. Dehydration is not good
SusieK710 130 Posted January 19, 2013 Use Tylenol, aleve is an NSAID, which irritates the stomach and thins the blood. May be dehydration or caffeine or carb withdrawal. Good luck
