buffybandslayer 0 Posted November 6, 2006 Hi! I am 3 years out. I am attempting to start a thread for my Indiana Friends with bands! I have lost 116 pounds. I am a LapBand Advocate so I want to help others. I have even began working for a surgeon who performs the BAND:clap2:

pixcess 0 Posted November 8, 2006 Is there a place for newbies to learn the lingo--maybe a list? I know some general IM terms, such as: DH (dear hubby), but I don't know the lap-band lingo yet, such as: PB. Pixcess

Cat804 0 Posted November 11, 2006 Hi, I'm Cathy from south central indiana. I am seriously thinking of getting a lap band. I found this site while doing some research on the web. There is no doubt that I need to lose weight and that I have tried everything and failed. My only question is how well it works and is it worth it. From some of the success stories I see here it looks promising. Hope is something I haven't had for a long time, but I can feel it lifting its head inside me. Thanks for being here. ...Cat
