Yeah I guess. Maybe the ones you make <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

But how much fat is in a commercial burger pattie and the processed cheese' date=' how much Protein is in a commercial processed cheese slice? - blah

I'm sure you could knock up a healthy version - with real cheese![/quote']

I prefer homemade extra cheeseburgers with 2% milk pepperjack cheese. I like the spicy salt free seasonings to give a kick.

I ate a baby. I was so scared about not eating so I went and ate a baby. It was in my way so I was like I'm never going to eat so instead of walking around the baby I picked it up threw it in the air and caught in my mouth and bam hunger satisfied. . .

Oh give it a rest' date=' you don't need to shoot down everyone who does not agree with you. We all live our lives on a continuum What is ok for you is not OK for some of us. I for one, cannot step FOOT into a mcdonalds because it sets of off on a distructive path. Feeding my craving sets me off. My thoughts are always going to be different from someone like you, maybe for the better, maybe not.

More importantly, your name calling is not acceptable here. Save that for somewhere else. McDonalds playplace maybe.[/quote']

Exactly. We need to know our triggers. I didn't get to be almost 400 lbs b/c I have will power of steel.... I gave an inch... And ate a mile...

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
