AAL 0 Posted November 6, 2006 Hi, I'm just waiting for my 1st appointment with Dr. Montgomery at NWWLC, so that I can schedule the surgery. My appointment isn't until the 13th...I wish it were sooner. Maybe I'll call to see if I can change it. My biggest concern is the surgery timing. I want it before the end of the year. I'm concerned that our holiday house guests (that are staying 10 days) will notice all of the mushy food. Since I'm not going to tell them about the surgery, I'm not sure if they will wonder why I'm eating mushy food. I was just wondering if anyone else out there had a similar situation? Thanks! Bullwinkle 1 Posted November 6, 2006 Hi, AAL - yeah, I'm doing that, too, when/if I have the procedure. I've told my husband that I don't want anyone to know. I've told one guy at work that I have an appointment to see a surgeon the day after tomorrow for "gall stones". When and if the insurance approves me in January, and when and if I'm approved for the procedure, I'll take a week off work, but I'm going to tell everyone that I'm having gall stone surgery -- or something else. I just don't want anyone to know.
