ckunes 23 Posted January 15, 2013 I found out why I can eat more than most after sleeve surgery. I had a # 56 bougie used due to lower esophageal stricture. It's about one and a half times the size of what most of you had. Holds around 6 ounces. Lost ;7 lbs total including preop. Was sleeved 10/10/12. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Richard Foor 655 Posted January 15, 2013 Sounds like your surgeon did what he had to do due to your bodies condition. You will still be able to lose weight probably just not as fast as others. Remember you don't have to eat until you get the full feeling you can measure your quantities and you should still have the decrease in Grehlin making you not as hungry. Good Luck.
