Kimber-lilly 2 Posted July 9, 2004 How many co-morbidities do you think I need to have to "please BXBS? I only have one--my letter was to the point and attached to it were all my reports, etc. Passed the psych test (amazingly!!) Had the sleep study--never so disappointed to learn I DON"T have sleep apnea...... So, there I am, hanging in the wind with my one co-morbidity. what do you guys think? Kimber-lilly PS, Hi Lisa--glad you are back safe and sound. I was wondering about you, too....
New Hope 37 Posted July 9, 2004 There's really no way to figure out how insurance companies work. Hopefully it will be in your favor. It's certainly worth the try! Best of luck to you!
hagerteresa 3 Posted July 9, 2004 Probably depends on what your one co-morbidity might be. You don't have sore joints, stiffness, possibly high blood pressure or anything else? Be creative No, I'm kidding a little. What does your family practitioner say? Have you spoken to him/her about it? Teresa
Alexandra 55 Posted July 9, 2004 What's your BMI currently? If it's over 40 you may not "need" any co-morbidities at all. However, I didn't think I had any either except for borderline high blood pressure, but my PCP's letter had a list of things that would be improved by weight loss. I didn't know I was that sick! Good luck!!
