LatteMadonna 25 Posted January 12, 2013 I was sleeved one month ago today and have finally found a Protein Shake I can tolerate Pure Protein from Sam's). My question is, do I treat it like a meal and not drink anything else 30 minutes before and after? I'm asking because my stomach has been so sensitive to everything I've eaten. 1 able2cope reacted to this
Annie B 89 Posted January 13, 2013 I don't have the answer, but I am treating it as a meal. However, the shake I'm having is not even as thick as chocolate milk, so it's a question I want to ask the NUT next week. It seems to me this would go right through like any liquid.< /p>
O.T.R. sleever 3,386 Posted January 13, 2013 I do, I figure I want it to have a bit of time to absorb before flushing my intestines with Water. That's not docs orders or anything, just my reasoning.
GeauxForIt 659 Posted January 13, 2013 I've never been told to treat it as a meal, but I do; especially in the morning bc a shake is my Breakfast.< /p>

LatteMadonna 25 Posted January 13, 2013 Thanks y'all. It seems like that was the only thing I forgot to ask the nutritionist this week.
